MESSAGE

The Kyoto Cooperative Association of KOUGEISENSHO is an association of dyeing technicians involved in the traditional Japanese industry of Kyo Yuzen. Our dyeing masters (KOUGEISENSHO) excel in utilizing a diverse range of advanced techniques, allowing us to produce small-lot items tailored to various consumer needs and, ultimately, to specialize in one-of-a-kind production.

This time, we created four saris using Kyoto Yuzen techniques based on the theme of “The Four Seasons of Kyoto: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.”
1. Spring: “Eight-Petaled Cherry Blossoms” Produced by Kimurasenshow
2. Summer: “Morning Glory” Produced by Fujirikougei
3. Autumn: “Autumn Leaves at Arashiyama” Produced by Nishiyama Sensho
4. Winter: “Full of Treasures Pattern with Young Pine Tree” Produced by Sensho Ichikawa

Organized by Kyoto Cooperative Association of KOUGEISENSHO
Supported by Kyoto Prefecture
